Prep day and canoe day
Every year, the Program participates in a community service project in which the campers remove an aquatic invasive species from the Charles River. They do this from canoes in order to prepare for the following day's canoe trip.

Invasive Species Day
Each year, campers and leaders arrive at Auburndale Cove to remove a very persistent clump of Japanese Knotweed, a highly invasive plant species.
