How to Apply to the Environmental Science Program

Forms:  If you are registered for 2010, please download and complete the remaining forms that are required by the Newton Health Department, and the Program. You can download them from the forms download page.



The Environmental Science Program is open to students who will be entering grades 7, 8, 9, or 10 by September 2010. This year, the program will operate from July 1st to July 29th, 2010. If you have any questions about the Program or the plans for Summer of 2010, please contact us at contact@newtonenvisci.org.

To apply, please complete a registration form, and mail it with a $150 deposit to:

Tuition
Tuition for the program in 2010 is  $1,095. If a $150 deposit (or full payment) is paid by January 31st, 2010 the tuition will be reduced by $50. All tuition must be received by May 1, 2010, unless otherwise arranged with the Executive Director.

Financial Aid
Financial aid is available in the form of partial scholarships donated by the Newton Conservators, Inc. and other organizations and individuals (see our Supporters page). Aid will be awarded based on need and availability. We hope to have an online registration form available on our website soon, but to ensure a place in the program you should submit a printed registration as soon as possible.

 

This program must comply with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and be licensed by the City of Newton Health Department. Parents or guardians have the right to review background checks of all leaders and staff, as required by applicable law. Contact Human Resources Department, City of Newton, 617-796-1260.
